When looking for an amazing place to host an event such as a wedding, you will often end up at castles or other (large) estates. These places are often located far away from city centres, sometimes even in the middle of nowhere. However, Carlos Quinto, both a ballroom and a restaurant, can be found in the historic centre of the wonderful city of Ghent. According to owner Pieter van Mullem, the art of running a place like this is listening to what people want. “We do not follow any strict formulas or stuff like that. What we do is talk to our soon-to-be guests and discuss their demands in order to host tailor-made parties that make them happy.”
