Boutique hotel STAATS

Hotel STAATS is a collaboration of hospitality professionals and design specialists. Helmed by Claudia van den Berg, the hotel is designed by Michel Ruijgrok from agency E.S.T.I.D.A, which specialises in hospitality design. “The idea to open a hotel initially came from him,” Van den Berg starts. “Ruijgrok designed STAAT’s adjacent restaurant De Ripper, and when this building went up for sale, we took our chance.” Van Den Berg brought years of hospitality experience at home and abroad to the hotel, ensuring guests want for nothing. The boutique hotel is located five minutes from the Grote Markt in Haarlem, and within 20 minutes you will find yourself on the Dam in Amsterdam.
